adidas Officially Unveils the D Lillard 2
The follow up to Damian Lillard’s debut shoe with adidas.
With frequent releases and innovations from the three stripes, adidas has unveiled an upcoming silhouette in Damian Lillard’s second signature shoe, the D Lillard 2. Lillard has proven time and time again that he has what it takes to compete at the NBA’s elite level and the sequel to his debut shoe is set to admire his overall growth. Former NBA Rookie of the Year, the D Lillard 2 is inspired by the city that raised him — Oakland, California. The upcoming silhouette features a Techfit bootie along with forefoot webbing and a heel counter made to support Lillard’s quickness. You can also find Bounce cushioning within the D Lillard 2’s midsole which is intended to provide comfort throughout. The D Lillard 2 will retail for $105 USD and will launch on January 22 in a “Rip City” colorway and on February 5 in a “Road” colorway. A special limited release of the “Rip City” edition will happen on December 26 on adidas’ website and other select adidas retailers.
