New 'Straight Outta Compton' Soundtrack, Score & Director's Cut Announced
Big news for fans of the N.W.A. biopic.
The frenzy surrounding the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton isn’t quite over. The film’s official soundtrack, Straight Outta Compton: The Soundtrack, and score have been scheduled for a January 8, 2016 release. The soundtrack will include remastered versions of two of N.W.A.’s biggest songs, “Express Yourself” and “Quiet On Tha Set.” Both projects will see digital and phyiscal release, with the soundtrack also available as boxed, two-part vinyl set. The release of the aforementioned products will also coincide with the official, multi-format release dates for Straight Outta Compton. Come January, expect the director’s cut of Straight Outta Compton to hit digital HD, Blu-Ray, DVD and On Demand markets by January 19.
