Miguel is certainly the type of artist who takes great care and puts much calculation behind their live act. When he has the opportunity to utilize an incredibly talented group of musicians for a backing band, he takes it to a whole other level. As part of Red Bull’s current “30 Days in LA” performance series, TV On The Radio enlisted Miguel for their Ace Hotel-hosted showcase. Taking on Miguel’s “Adore” and revered krautrock pioneers Can’s “Vitamin C” back to back, everyone on that stage proved their ability to seamlessly weave between a full spectrum of sounds and styles while playing live.
