An all-Japanese basketball sneaker for the ages.
First released in 1982, Onitsuka Tiger’s Fabre Nippon basketball sneaker receives its latest makeover courtesy of fellow Japanese imprint mastermind JAPAN. Rendered in white, brown and black colorways, the Fabre Nippon’s upper is made of premium leather with a rather homogenous color treatment throughout, with the only exception being the gold embroidery of the mastermind skull-and-bones logo above the gold heel pull. A simple, white rubber sole anchors the silhouette, whilst a red gum outsole provides ample traction on or off the court. Meanwhile, a side zip allows ease of wear for the high-top. The mastermind JAPAN x Onitsuka Tiger Fabre Nippon pack will be available from November 7 onwards at Onitsuka Tiger stores in Tokyo for ¥38,000 JPY ($314 USD).
