Marc Newson may have joined Jony Ive’s team at Apple last year, but that hasn’t stopped the renowned industrial designer from working with the likes of Montblanc and Heineken in recent months — Nike even reissued the Australian’s ZVEZDOCHKA to celebrate the silhouette’s 10-year anniversary. Now the London-based Aussie has turned his attentions to an unexpected partner: Sunbeam. Linking up with the American home appliance company, Newson has produced a sleek kettle and matching toaster. Available in a bevy of colorways, the stunning designs come crafted in stainless steel and boast intuitive details throughout: the kettle sports an ergonomic handle and is engineered for undisturbed water flow and restricted steam escape while the toaster features and extra wide crumb tray and an automatic function that lowers and lifts the toast when ready.
