A few weeks ago, Justin Timberlake joined country star Chris Stapleton for a performance at the CMA Awards. After the event, many wondered if country would be a good next step for Justin because he killed the performance and made it one of the highlight moments of the night. In a recent interview with TMZ, frequent collaborator Timbaland hinted that a country album with Timberlake might be on the way: “Now that you put it out there, why not. We are country. He’s from Tennessee, I’m from Virginia. It’s only right that we try to tap into what we was raised in.” Watch the interview and Justin’s performance below.
