Frank Ocean Shares Thoughts on the Paris Attacks
“Love to Paris and any individual or family who’s lost loved ones to evil anywhere in this world.”

Last night an unprecedented series of attacks struck Paris leaving over 100 people dead. Many took the opportunity to voice their opinions on social media including this particularly controversial tweet from Donald Trump, and it appears to have caught the attention of Frank Ocean. The usually reserved R&B singer took to his Tumblr to share a message to Donald Trump before sharing his own condolences.
Isn’t it interesting that the tragedy in Paris took place in one of the toughest gun control countries in the world?

Frank Ocean’s response:
ON THE REAL THOUGH DONALD TRUMP. HOW IS IT ‘INTERESTING’ THAT THESE SHOOTINGS HAPPENED IN A COUNTRY THAT’S TOUGH ON GUNS? TELL US DON? BECAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE THAT VACUOUS OBSERVATION WAS ABOUT GIVING YOUR NRA-LOVING CONSTITUENCY A HANDJOB AND SPINNING A TRAGEDY FOR POLITICAL GAIN AND I’M THINKING MAYBE USING A SITUATION WHERE DOZENS OF INNOCENTS HAVE JUST BEEN MURDERED IN THE STREETS ISN’T THE BEST TIME. NO?
Frank also shared his condolences after:
“evil anywhere in the world.”
LOVE TO PARIS AND ANY INDIVIDUAL OR FAMILY WHO’S LOST LOVED ONES TO EVIL ANYWHERE IN THIS WORLD. CHILL W THE ANGLES.
Our thoughts and condolences go out the people of Paris.
