BBC Predicts the Top New Artists of 2016

Since 2003, BBC has been releasing “Sound Of…” lists which are annual polls of music critics and industry figures that pinpoint the most promising new music talents of the year. Their predictions have been fairly accurate, with 50 Cent, Adele and Sam Smith scoring top spots in previous years. Last year, electro-pop group Years & Years won, beating out Grime MCs Stormzy and Novelist. In the 15-name-long list for this year’s poll, there are a few familiar names like Alessia Cara, Mura Masa, NAO and Section Boyz. Check out the full list below and let us know if you agree with it.
