Developed in tandem with the world’s all-time leading scorer Cristiano Ronaldo, Nike has unveiled its latest Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 boot dubbed “Savage Beauty.” The first in a series of seven to be released over the next several seasons, this new offering is the most intricate that the sportswear brand has ever produced on a pair of boots. Inspired by the volcanic island of Madeira where Ronaldo was born, the graphic features a lava-influenced graphic that was achieved using a vibrant six-color palette. As a collaboration between Nike’s World HQ and its expert artisans in Montebelluna, Italy, the boot is an unparalleled union of form and functionality. To be released with an accompanying boots and apparel collection, the “Savage Beauty” series is a truly stunning selection of pitch-ready athletic apparel.

The CR7 Chapter 1: Savage Beauty boots and apparel collection will be available later this week. The Nike Free Mercurial Superfly will be available starting November 14 via the Nike Football App, Nike online and at select retailers. Chapter 2 will be unveiled in 2016. You can check out images from the full collection here.
