Will also discuss the brand’s high-profile controversies.

Phil Knight, co-founder and chairman of Nike, has written a memoir about the iconic brand’s early years. CNBC reports that the account will also discuss high-profile controversies, such as the labor abuse allegations at factories overseas. In a statement released by Scribner imprint of Simon & Schuster, Inc., Knight admits that he is reluctant to look back at the past but since he will be stepping down as chairman next year, he says: “Giving up more and more daily responsibility, I have found the time and the perspective. Or said another way: If I didn’t do it now, it wasn’t going to be done at all.”
The yet untitled memoir is set to release in Spring 2016.
