The Japanese heavyweight adds its mark to the history of the Jack Purcell.
Journal Standard‘s pared-back aesthetic defines this collaboration with Converse by way of its sub-label relume. Taking Converse’s classic Jack Purcell silhouette, relume reimagines the sneaker in an upper of all-over off-white scotch grain leather with tonal laces. The silhouette is finished with a white vulcanized rubber sole, replete with the Jack Purcell’s signature “smile” indentation at the toe, making for the last word in simplicity. The Journal Standard relume x Converse Jack Purcell can now be purchased in-store for ¥12,900 JPY (approximately $107 USD) at Journal Standard relume outlets throughout Japan.
