Elon Musk Calls Apple the "Tesla Graveyard"
“If you don’t make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple.”

Elon Musk, also known as CEO of the automotive and energy storage company Tesla Motors among other titles, has revealed that engineers fired from Tesla usually find new jobs at Apple. Business Insider reports the Tesla Motors CEO told German newspaper Handelsblatt:
“They [Apple] have hired people we’ve fired. We always jokingly call Apple the ‘Tesla Graveyard.’ If you don’t make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple. I’m not kidding.”
Musk also spares no feelings or ill will toward the Cupertino-based tech giant’s new venture into the electric car market; it is “the next logical thing” for the tech giant, agrees Musk – ”It’s good that Apple is moving and investing in this direction. But cars are very complex compared to phones or smartwatches.” Apple is currently estimated as the most valuable company in the world, and its engineering and robotics team is only expanding.
