In this short film by Loren Denis, Camille Tanoh unveils his Fall/Winter 2015 collection featuring the Monday Morning Man Shoe. The new silhouette is available in either Black Nappa Leather, Black Suede Leather, or Black Patent Leather, and are all handcrafted in Portugal. The video itself is an atmospheric black-and-white film exploring the idea that the time you wake up says a lot about who you are. In hopes of defining the Monday Morning Man, some adjectives thrown around include: adventurous, aggressive and imperfect. Denis’ film perfectly complements Camille Tanoh’s collection as each iteration of the shoe also features a different inscribed “waking time,” inspired by Japanese conceptual artist On Kawara’s I Got Up series.
