Watch This Official Commercial for the Hoverboard From 'Back to the Future'
“Air’s no longer for just breathing.”
To celebrate the forthcoming 30th anniversary of the Back to the Future trilogy, Universal Pictures has released an “Official” Hoverboard commercial. Featuring a campy, over-the-top skater (wearing Nike Air MAGs, of course), the video spot is filled with tons of “bruhs” and cheesy air puns. Front and center in the commercial is the iconic pink hoverboard that Marty McFly rode in Back to the Future Part II and III. Although actual hoverboards are no longer that far off in the future, thanks to Lexus, this new commercial is definitely nostalgic for reminding us how crazy the concept of floating skateboards was for us back when the movie first came out. The Back to the Future Trilogy 30th Anniversary Release will be available October 21.
