In the latest trailer for Burnt, the preview adopts a much lighter mood compared to its darker first version. There is even a Darth Vader analogy to explain Michelin stars. Whereas the initial glimpse of the movie focused largely on the drug abuse and manic behavior of Bradley Cooper‘s Adam Jones, the recent one narrates the story of his redemption. As he desperately tries to salvage the remnants of his failed culinary endeavor, Jones returns to Paris in an attempt to rebuild his broken legacy. Directed by John Wells (August: Osage County) and featuring a star-studded cast that includes the likes of Emma Thompson, Uma Thurman, Alicia Vikander, Daniel Brühl and Lily James, the film promises to be an impressive portrayal of a man’s journey to recovery. Burnt is set to hit theaters on October 30.
