Melat - Dance Olivia (Produced by Obey City)
“‘Dance Olivia’ is about embracing who you truly are and pursuing whatever it is you set your mind to regardless of opinion and the judgements of others.”
Earlier in the month, talented Texas songstress Melat linked up with fellow Texan Raven Sorvino for a new song entitled “96 Fleetwood.” For her latest, she’s switching gears and shifting into a different direction. Uniting with the equally-skilled producer Obey City, Melat embraces self-love, individuality and realizing one’s dreams on “Dance Olivia.” The song is being pushed as Melat’s new single, and the singer-songwriter coupled its release with the following statement:
“‘Dance Olivia’ is about embracing who you truly are and pursuing whatever it is you set your mind to regardless of opinion and the judgements of others. In a time where there is increasing unrest across the globe and even here at home, there so many lines of thought that tell us we aren’t good enough because of who we are, what we are, where we come from, who we know, etc. But regardless of the negativity and the seemingly endless downpour of negativity, keep dancing. Keep pursuing your dreams, keep being that amazing you and fight for peace, love, acceptance, and justice.”
