Here, Rubchinskiy opens up about his childhood, influences and ambitions, shedding light on “his multidisciplinary, multi-media approach” and the influences on his work — chiefly the “romance of youth, Russian religious roots and the clash between the Russian post-soviet mentality and growing up in a country undergoing huge political, economical and cultural change after dissolution of the USSR in 1991.”
