Suge Knight and drama have often been synonymous and sadly, today marks no exception. The former Death Row honcho arrived on a film set in Compton earlier today and reportedly killed his friend Terry Carter in a hit and run after an altercation with two crew members. The film set, where Knight’s hit and run happened, was part of a promotional shoot for Straight Outta Compton, the forthcoming biopic about the rap group N.W.A.
According to TMZ, Knight fled the set after a fight broke out between him and two men. He got back into his car, took the wheel and threw the vehicle in reverse and ran over Carter who suffered fatal injuries. According to sources, Carter, who arrived with Suge on the set, was walking toward the passenger side of the vehicle when he got struck. Actor Cle “Bone” Sloane was also hit but has no life threatening injuries. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has issued a bulletin instructing officers to “be on the lookout” for Knight, and that they intend to question him for murder. Police also say Knight should be considered armed and dangerous. The former CEO’s lawyer is urging his client to turn himself into police, according to the website. Knight is currently out on $500,000 bail in connection with an alleged theft of a paparazzo’s camera. He is scheduled for a court hearing on Tuesday.
