Following Part 1 of our Streetsnaps at Paris Fashion Week, Part 2 sings to a different tune with a contrast to the tailored outfits we’ve been eying. Deconstruction seems to be an emerging theme here, with destroyed jeans, patchwork jackets, zippers and frayed hems making their mark. No longer is fashion week attire the black-tie of yesteryear, but infusions of sportswear and casual pieces reflect the hold of streetwear and its amalgamation into high-end fashion spotted on the runways. Show-goers aren’t only layering to a tee, but their accessorizing is also on point with an array of headgear complementing their outfits in the chilly Parisian weather. From a colorful range of beanies, baseball caps and fedoras, hats are as much of a statement as the clothing itself. For others, hairstyles do the trick, with blonde dreadlocks, slicked back hair, buns, and of course Karl Lagerfeld and Nick Wooster‘s iconic white manes.
