Always versatile and rarely abashed of color or bold patterning, here we find iconic British designer Paul Smith submitted a rather subdued collection for Fall/Winter 2015. In place of the Morrison-esque psychedelic prints seen around this time in last year’s collection, Smith flexes his versatility with an array of mellow, earthy tones across a navy- and charcoal-based palette. The designer takes gingham squares and explodes them into wonderfully mellow gradients of tonal beige, brown and blue. The silhouettes themselves are also markedly varied, as Smith rolls out desirable scoop-necked T-shirts and cashmere crewnecks in the same breath as slick suiting options. Peruse this triumphant collection from Paul Smith, arriving at retailers later in the year.
