Earlier last week, we witnessed Hawaii-based Lightning Bolt’s airy submission for Spring/Summer 2015, which was chock full of the lighthearted hues and fabrics that we’ve come to expect from the brand. Moving into Fall/Winter 2015 though, the brand makes a marked departure from its established aesthetic, zeroing in on technical materials for year-round quality. Accordingly, the three components of the collection – “Ocean,” “Tundra,” and “Mountain” – all remain true to the washed out color palette while also considering taped seams, welded zippers, waterproof shell fabrics and specially-crafted ergonomic silhouettes as they relate to the wearer’s daily routine. Check out this revamped, rebuilt, and reinforced collection from Lightning Bolt now, arriving at select retailers worldwide later this year.
