MSGM presented its 2015 fall/winter collection recently in Milan. Designer Massimo Giorgetti cites the inspiration for the collection as coming from the Beastie Boys‘ “Intergalactic” music video from 1998. This ’90s homage is evidently shown in its velvet overalls, black denim suit and oversized jackets. Drawing from the Intergalactic theme, the range exudes a sense of playfulness, with rocketship patches and patterns imprinted on a variety of pieces. A leopard print overcoat stands out in contrast among the collection, which overall seems to have a fun yet mature theme.
