Woolrich John Rich & Bros. recently presented its 2015 fall/winter collection in Milan. In honor of the brand’s 185th anniversary, the collection presents the brand’s historical pieces, updated with a contemporary twist by incorporating iconic Americana. Three themes are prevalent throughout the collection — Authentic, Teton and Contemporary — which cater to heritage, outdoor and urban lifestyles respectively. Collectively, the collections span everything from iconic pieces, such as the Hunting Jacket and Railroad Vest, to outerwear that focuses on performance and durable protection from the elements, and high-performance materials in iconic silhouettes that are perfect for everyday city life. This includes felted wool blazers and fleece chinos, which utilize a blend of hi-tech fabrics with wool, cotton and stretch-twill. An extension of more than 50 pieces of cashmere and wool knitwear, all made in Italy, is also included. Woolrich also debuts its first full range of waterproof rainwear with GORE-TEX® — high-performance outerwear that consists of a parka, trench coat and storm jacket that all come with detachable, Thinsulate down sweaters inside.
