Centered on formal wear, Fendi‘s 2015 fall/winter range embellishes traditional pieces with luxury fabrics and color-blocked detailing. Thick materials such as corduroy, wool and suede were cut to produce various pieces from oversized topcoats to grey corduroy suits. Color-blocking is seen in the combo of a speckled brown sweater, underneath a suede blazer with blue and brown patches and a cashmere scarf, later followed by a green, ribbed sweater and a brown pair of suede trousers with bright blue squares stitched on both side pockets. Several scarves sported multicolor linear stripes, completing solid looks, coupled with the mohair wool sweaters flaunting the same color block patterning. An attention-grabbing piece includes a lavish, multicolored jacket finished with fur trims along the sleeves, linear streaks across the front, and an interesting chest region that sports stitched details that seemingly express a face. The collection is rounded out with monochrome blazers and trousers, either outfitted in pinstripes or demarcated with strong, black accents.
