Kool & The Gang's Clifford Adams Has Passed Away

Some sad news today as Kool & The Gang trombonist Clifford Adams has passed away. The late Adams was 62 years old and had been suffering from liver cancer for about a year. Problems worsened as Clifford, unfortunately, did not have medical insurance and while attempts were made to raise funds for a transplant, sadly, it was too late. Adams was best known for his work with Kool & The Gang, various collaborations and two solo studio albums, The Master Power and I Feel Your Spirit. Recently, we had the chance to interview with the bands frontman Rob “Kool” Bell, as well as cover the band’s inspiring performance at Clockenflap Music and Arts Festival in Hong Kong that ultimately proved the group effortlessly timeless. Rest in peace Clifford.
