COMME des GARÇONS 2015 Fall/Winter Collection

Always one of the most visually compelling presentations, COMME des GARÇONS unveiled its 2015 fall/winter collection at Paris Fashion Week to show what we should expect for the colder months later this year. Reinterpreting formal tailoring in quirky ways, the garments showed the label’s penchant for playing with silhouettes and dancing between the lines of masculinity. Prints played a huge part in the showing and a multicolored scribble motif was prominently featured on number of pieces, along with dalmatian patterns. Legwear options were also interesting, as loose flowing silhouettes in the form of shorts and skirts were paired with leg sleeves in scribble motifs. Many looks were then finished off with headwear pieces that included masks, headbands, hoods and hats to round out the interesting play on formal aesthetics.
