adidas by Rick Owens 2015 Fall/Winter Collection

The adidas by Rick Owens line for 2015 fall/winter has been unveiled, presenting us with three new models. Tapping inspiration from Rick Owens’ Runner models from 2014, the footwear takes the intersection of fashion and sportswear to new levels as evident with the 40cm-long fitted high boot with a draped upper. This Runner Stretch Boot will be available in four different colors, one of which is black and the rest in varying shades of brown. Next, we have the Runner Ankle Stretch boot, which is the same design but in a lower version, where the upper rises to only 19cm. All these silhouettes incorporate premium suede with a stretch Velcro panel in the back, while there will also be one fur option. Taking it back to its iconic roots, the original Rick Owens Runner will be brought back but this time with a less padded color and in the options of an all-black full suede, as well as a black mixed leather edition with a white outsole. The adidas by Rick Owens collection will be available at select stockists worldwide from mid July 2015, and retail in the price range of $790 USD to $1,440 USD.
