Aphex Twin shared one final taste of his new EP yesterday, and now Aphex Twin’s Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments Pt2 project is available for streaming and for purchase via Warp Records. The EP runs 13 tracks (which might be a little long for an EP?), and follows up the release of 2014’s Syro LP. Though Richard D. James never did anything close to orthodox in the span of his career, this project is experimental even by Aphex Twin standards, with the entire piece playing out as an experiment in what the EP’s title describes. Aphex Twin’s new EP is a brief listen, too; many of these tracks don’t even hit the minute mark. Whether you feel this new one or not, hopefully this means there will be more Aphex Twin productions liberated from his extensive personal libraries. You can stream Aphex Twin’s latest below, and those interested in purchasing a copy can run on over to Warp Records’ website.
