"No Plans For An Outkast Album," Says Andre 3000

Well, looks like all of us Outkast fans will just have some live performances, features and Big Boi projects to look forward to. In a newly-published interview with Lang Whitaker for Billboard, Whitaker writes flat-out that Andre 3000 has “no plans for another movie or a solo album — nevermind new Outkast music.” Further expounding on that hope-destroying statement, Whitaker included this following quote from 3 Stacks:
“There are no plans to do [an Outkast album]. It’s not like some people think: ‘They’re about to drop this album!’ We don’t have, like, one song. There’s no trickery or nothing like that.”
So, there you go. It’s as simple as this: no Outkast or Andre music is on the horizon and it isn’t being cooked up in some studio lab somewhere. But hey, that last Big Boi album was pretty good, right?
