Iconic fashion house Louis Vuitton will expand on its sweeping empire with October’s launch of the biannual magazine aptly titled The Book. For the 126-page inaugural issue, The Book will feature a cover story with actress-singer Charlotte Gainsbourg, an interview with fellow actress Catherine Deneuve, a menswear editorial shot by acclaimed photographer Peter Lindbergh, and a retrospective look at vintage Keepall bags with monogram prints. With French Elle contributor Sylvia Jorif listed as editor and art direction by Yorgo Tloupas, Louis Vuitton’s new imprint will be translated into 11 different languages and sold throughout the world within the coming weeks.
