After surveying the collection just last week with a proper lookbook, here we inspect the elements within adidas Originals and NEIGHBORHOOD‘s Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Starting with the footwear, we see Shinsuke Takizawa’s Americana-inspired brand updating loosely ‘native’ aesthetics, making use of signature fraying, an earthy color palette, and trail-ready silhouettes across the offerings. A psychedelic diamond motif runs across the surface of the NH Shelltoe to a range of sweatshirts, quilted parkas and T-shirts. These pieces are accompanied by quirky takes on layering staples, all of which do well to encapsulate the workwear-couture Takizawa’s brand is so regarded for. Enjoy this look at the collection above, then look for these offerings at select adidas Originals retailers at the beginning of October.
