The whole project centers around charity — each release with its own — with the “Global Warning” pair standing for… global warning. Having raised $15,268 USD for the charity A Place Called Home and $18,537 USD for the American Cancer Society with the first two releases respectively, the third hopes to raise even more for the Natural Resources Defense Council who specialize in solving our climate change crisis. The shoes themselves sport a black upper in premium leathers with knitted accents on the mid and heel panels, and inner lining. The outsole comes in icy blue while details include reflective 3M “Saucony” stripes and custom branded tags.
