Ricoh has debuted the latest addition to its Pentax Q-range of cameras with the Pentax Q-S1. Designed to be a capable everyday shooter, the compact, interchangeable-lens digital camera features a 12.4 megapixel, back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a maximum ISO of 12,800, and a new gyro system to reduce the effects of shaking. Appealing to the image-conscious set, the camera is can be had in a range of body colors through the company’s color to order service, which offers up four standard color schemes along with 36 combinations of body and grip color. Eight compatible lenses should ensure that the Q-S1 fulfills the needs for a variety of shooters. The Q-S1 will be hitting retailers this month with prices starting at $499 USD for a kit including a 5-15mm lens. Find out more here.
