With no end in sight, the collaborative ASICS program continues with yet another release, this time courtesy of Concepts. Inspired by the mythological phoenix, this upcoming drop is a follow-up to the August 2nd drop based around the same theme and meant as a representation of a reborn phoenix. A muted sandy suede upper is infused with selective hits of purple at the heel of the midsole as well as the edge of the iconic ASICS stripes. Purple laces seen here are just one of four options that will be provided. The Concepts for ASICS Gel Lyte V “The Phoenix” will drop on Saturday, August 9 to the tune of 500 pairs.
