Melisa Young, the talent that is Kid Sister, has released a new mix entitled DUSK2DAWN: The Diary of Jane Jupiter. Comprised of ten superb tracks, the offering was highlighted by her collaboration with Dam-Funk, “Higher,” produced by Chad Hugo. Along with the new mix, Young provided a heartfelt open letter to fans explaining how hard she worked to create the project, which you can read an excerpt from below. And after all the growing pains and tears I think I can finally say I’m proud.
