Converse has hooked up with Boston’s Concepts for a brand new collaboration starring the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 1970s. Dubbed the “Zaire Leopard Camo,” this colorway features a canvas upper with a camouflage print inspired by the Zairean army’s leopard spot camouflage patterns from the 1970s. Continuing the military theme are bandolier heel loops on the backs of the shoes and extra olive green laces, while enamel pins add a bit of levity to the concept. Rounding out the design are embroidered patches and co-branded insoles. Look for the “Zaire Leopard Camo” Chuck Taylor All Star 1970s exclusively at Concepts in-store and online on August 16.
