B&O PLAY S8 Wireless Speaker System

Meet the new S8 from B&O PLAY. Combining Bang & Olufsen’s award-winning design with powerful acoustic performance, the S8 is designed to instantly enhance any audio setup–whether is be connected to a mobile device, computer, or television. Offering a variety of placement options, the flexible system includes two satellite speakers that can be hung on the wall or positioned with table stands, as well as a subwoofer that can be tweaked via a “sound adaption” switch to offer optimal bass no matter where in the room it’s positioned. While the sub features an 8” bass driver, the satellites feature 2.5” treble/midrange units with 140 watts dedicated to each. Retailing for $1,199 USD, the S8 is slated to be available online by the end of August.
