Sakima - Energy

London up-and-comer Sakima is probably best known for his work alongside Ryan Hemsworth and Cyril Hahn, but the pop artist is continuing to branch off on his own with a new track entitled “Energy.” Originally unveiled by BBC’s Zane Lowe, “Energy” is the type of synth-washed, heart-tugging pop that makes an impact through its minimalist-yet-moving presence. The percussion is light and frail, the melodies are mournful and fading, but the sound feels important and immediate.
