Following up from its first venture into automatic watches two years ago with the Monoposto, New York’s Autodromo is set to release another beautiful, vintage automobile-inspired timepiece. Named the ‘Stradale,” translated to “road going” in Italian, the Stradale incorporates numerous cues that nod back to Italian sports cars found in the 50s and early ’60s. The watch features a multilayered dial that is reminiscent of a dashboard cluster, domed sapphire crystal at the front and at the exhibition caseback, a 40 mm case, custom strap with ribbed detailing, and is powered by the 24-jewel Miyota 9015 movement. Available in three color options at $875 USD each, the Autodromo Stradale is for pre-order now at Autodromo while the actual stock date will be closer to September.
