Nike Air Max Lunar90 SP "Apollo 11"

Nike celebrates Neil Armstrong’s seminal moon landing – which approaches its July 20 anniversary – by creating a special rendition of its Air Max Lunar90. Dubbed the “Apollo 11,” the shoe notably marks a refreshing return to standout concept-heavy colorways by the Swoosh camp. Here we find the Air Max Lunar90 SP executed with a 3M ‘moon’ print on the mesh and synthetic upper, complimented by a speckled grey and black Lunarlon midsole. The heel counters pay homage to this iconic American achievement with stars and stripes on the left and right panels, respectively. This special “Apollo 11” version will be released, fittingly, on July 20 at specialty retailers such as Bodega for $145 USD.
