Dubai to Build the World's First Temperature Controlled City

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates has announced the world’s first temperature controlled city to be constructed in Dubai. The 48 million-square-foot project will contain the largest shopping mall ever built and an indoor theme park covered by a retractable glass dome, which will open during the winter months. Titled the ‘mall of the world,’ the project will also boast a wellness center, cultural celebration district, and a plethora of hospitality services including 20,000 hotel rooms.
