The movie Gone in 60 Seconds is most remembered for Nicholas Cage’s overacting and the fierce selection of cars it featured. Now one of the 50 automobiles from the film, the 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 named ‘Eleanor’ is up for grabs at the Mecum auction block in August. This is one of three working versions of the vehicle made for the film by Cinema Vehicle Services of North Hollywood, California, with help from designer Steven Stanford. The car has a custom body kit, fender flares, side exit exhaust, a Ford Racing 351 CI crate motor, and a 4-speed transmission. Last year another example of the same model sold for $1 million USD, so there’s no doubt this classic car will command big bucks next month at auction. Check out the listing here.
