Having launched his eponymous label in 2009, Umit Benan has burgeoned to become one of the more coveted designers amongst retailers and pundits alike. The brand recently showcased its collection for Spring/Summer 2015 on the Parisian runways, disregarding common trend to showcase a rather casual sportswear-tinged delivery. The range features layers of wide-lapeled blazers, lush, flowing pants, zippered sweatshirts and even robes – which collectively emit a kind of ‘members-only’ attitude. This motif is underlined by the green and blue grid pattern that ties the collection together, reminiscent of country club tennis courts.
