Oris takes inspiration from the Indian Ocean’s Red Sea for not only its interest as a top diving

Oris takes inspiration from the Indian Ocean’s Red Sea for not only its interest as a top diving destination but also its diverse aquatic ecosystems. Within the large body of water, over 1,200 species of marine life are overseen by the Red Sea Environmental Center (RSEC). To help commemorate their efforts, Oris unveil the Aquis Red L.E. including a 43mm stainless case, AR-coated sapphire crystal and water resistance up to 300 meters. The unidirectional bezel is complimented by a black ceramic inlay. The movement includes a Swiss automatic Oris caliber 733 (base Sellita SW 200-1) with 26 jewels, 28,800 vph, and a power reserve of 38 hours. In addition to the watch itself, a special box features a waterproof torch, which all in all will retail for 1,900 CHF (approximately $2,200 USD).
