In sneakers, there are resellers, and then there are re-makers. Falling under the latter category, Hender Scheme has just released the latest installment in the brand’s series of classic remakes, re-imagining the Air Jordan IV with a plush leather upper and details. The brand, led by Ryo Kashiwazaki, is also responsible for luxury reproductions of the Air Force 1 Mid or the Vans Era. With this release, Hender Scheme echoes the silhouette of the Air Jordan IV down to its triangular lace loop peripheral, yet touches of suede at the forefoot, the use of supple leather, and even a handcrafted wooden midsole section set this sneaker in a league of its own. Head over to the brand’s website to explore more of its offerings.
