Google is Officially the World's Most Valuable Brand
Now valued at $159 billion USD, Google surpasses Apple as the world’s most valuable brand in 2014.

Now valued at $159 billion USD, Google surpasses Apple as the world’s most valuable brand in 2014. Having grown by about 40% since 2013, Google tops Apple – leader of BrandZ’s poll for the last three years – by nearly $11 billion USD. It should also be said that the brainchild of the late Steve Jobs saw a decline of about 20% in its brand value from last year. There’s a lot to be said for Apple’s decline and Google’s rise, but as Oscar Yuan – VP at Millward Brown – put it, “Apple’s innovations have been more evolutionary than revolutionary.” Whereas Google has been doing just the opposite with initiatives like GoogleX, Google Glass, smartwatches and so much more.
