Having previously adopted both a Lunar sole and the more rugged Free-inspired tooling of the SFB, Nike‘s Flyknit Chukka silhouette is receiving yet another update with the debut of the Nike Lunarmax Flyknit Chukka SP. Retaining the beloved upper of the original, the “Special Project” employs the Lunar-assisted Air Max sole first seen on the Air Max Lunar90 at the start of the new year. While release details remain unknown, the tongue’s “N.Y.C.” branding suggests that these will likely turn up at Nike’s 21 Mercer in July – perhaps in conjunction with additional colorways at other NSW spots such as 1948 London and Invincible as part of a brand new City Pack. Stay tuned for a further look and more concrete details and, in the meantime, enjoy the first look at the Lunarmax Flyknit Chukka SP above.
