After four years without an album, R&B singer Kelis is about a week away from the release of her new album Food. Courtesy of NPR, there’s a free stream available at this location ahead of the project’s April 22 release date. The album will be released via Ninja Tune, and was produced by TV On The Radio‘s Dave Sitek. According to NPR, the album is “the embodiment of what she has always contended as an artist: that she can’t be molded to fit inside one genre,” and contains a “palette that revels in soul, doo-wop, and layered girl-group harmonies.”
