In case you didn’t get the chance to get a ticket for this year’s Coachella festivities or you simply live too far away to head to Indio, California, there’s a slight comfort. The festival has announced that both weekends of the annual event will be broadcast, the first weekend on YouTube and the second on cable channel AXS TV. In addition, both weekends will be hosted but Jason Bentley, Music Director for the tastemaking Los Angeles radio station KCRW. The first weekend (April 11-13) will again be streamed live by T-Mobile on YouTube while programming will include live webcasts of select performances, artist interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and performance highlights. Content will be available for a few weeks after the festival via on-demand video playback. On weekend two (April 18-20), AXS TV will broadcast 20 hours of live coverage, including select performance footage and artist interviews.
