Alex Metric & Oliver - Galaxy

The electronic “nu-disco” sound is as prevalent as any other big trend in dance music now, but only few can really master that particular craft.  For example, Alex Metric & Oliver‘s new seven-minute collaboration “Galaxy.” It’s a floor-stomping disco track loaded with extraterrestrial melodies and splashes of synthesizer that transports the listener to a steamy club setting via astral projection.  Premiered by i-D, “Galaxy” is set to be the finale to Alex Metric’s upcoming EP Hope. Hope will be released through OWSLA, and is slated for an April 22 drop.
